How to Get an OpenAI API Key

Business Diver can write your company reports with OpenAI's GPT models through your own OpenAI API key. In Business Diver, OpenAI appears as "ChatGPT" in the provider list.
Create your key on the OpenAI platform
- Open the API keys page on the OpenAI platform and sign in, or create an account.
- Create a new key and give it a name you will recognise, such as "Business Diver".
- Copy the key and keep it somewhere safe.
- Paste it into Business Diver with ChatGPT selected, and click "Activate".
What it costs
OpenAI bills each report to your OpenAI account at its API prices. Fast reports use a smaller, lower-cost model and Deep reports a stronger one; each report names the model that wrote it. Is my key safe with Business Diver?
Your key stays in your browser, never in our database. It expires after 24 hours, and Delete Key removes it at once. When you activate the key or run a report, your browser sends it to our server over HTTPS, and the server uses it only for that request's calls to OpenAI. We never store or log it. Use your key in Business Diver
Sign in, choose ChatGPTin the provider list, paste your key and click "Activate". Then enter a company name and pick Fast or Deep.
